Paddle Shifters
Steering-wheel paddles send direct shift requests to the transmission control unit for rapid up/downshifts, letting you hold a gear for acceleration or engine-brake into a corner. In manual mode the box follows your inputs, giving tighter control on overtakes, ramps, or twisty roads.

Sport Mode
Selecting Sport remaps throttle sensitivity and transmission shift points for quicker response; on equipped cars it also firms steering (and adaptive dampers where fitted). The result is livelier turn-in and stronger mid-range punch while still allowing a quick return to Comfort for cruising.

TwinPower Turbo
BMWs TwinPower Turbo combines a twin-scroll turbocharger with direct injection and variable valve timing (Valvetronic/Double-VANOS) to boost torque from low revs. You get smooth, linear pull without lag and solid efficiency for a petrol performance saloon.
